Returning to the circus was difficult for Ash. The accident happened a little over two years ago but it felt like yesterday when his rope slipped but it was Ash’s partner who fell to their death in front of a full crowd. Not him.
This was going to be different. Accidents happen all the time. It was time to get back at it.
It was Saturday night, the tent packed to the brim of anticipated spectators watching Ash like a bird soar through the trees. All was going well until the rope split.
You really can’t cheat death after all.
