A little while back I received the Life Line Lenoracle (2nd printing) in the mail by my friend and the decks creator, Thomas of Hermit’s Mirror. I’ve been wanting to dive in and share a review of this deck but life took over a bit, oop’s! Here is my personal review on this clever deck!
The Life Line Lenoracle is a mashup up of three decks in one: Lenormand, Playing Cards, and an Oracle. You can choose to use the whole deck for oracle/cartomancy or just the Lenormand cards, or you can even just play solitaire if you choose!
The cards are poker size with a linen finish and red metallic edges (they’re stunning, if I’m being honest). The cardstock reminds of a traditional pack of playing cards, which is a favorite of mine since it makes shuffling with them feel like butter and they hold up well.
The packaging of the Life Line Lenoracle is very sturdy and shelf friendly. You will receive a large lidded box and inside there is a 144-page guidebook with the cards snuggled in their own tuck box. It makes for a great gift for both beginners and well seasoned readers.
What I enjoy most about this deck is the size, the guidebook and the flexibility with options you have, it’s totally unique to me. The guidebook is thorough and very well written, as with all of Thomas’ work. The one thing I like about Thomas’ writing is that you can feel his personality through his words and you can bet it will be of great quality with attention to detail.
By the way, Thomas + Siolo Thompson are releasing a new deck and the Kickstarter launches Oct 1st! There will be less than 500 available and this will be the only indie print run. Check out the Kickstarter link HERE!
For this deck interview, I’m using my own 4-card spread that can be found here. I am using the entire deck as an oracle for this interview reading to see what comes up!
When working with this deck, how will I grow as a reader? 4 of Hearts (Bread)
It appears this deck will help me simplify things and bring them down a notch. Bread in general requires very basic ingredients, my husband makes bread often.
Which card shows the theme or style of this deck? Ace of Diamonds (Sun)
This is one happy little deck, it oozes joy and happiness to those who choose to work with the cards. So far, I’ve only heard great things about this deck and how much other readers enjoy reading with these cards.
What is the potential of our working relationship? Queen of Clubs (Snake)
While normally a snake is never great to see in a reading, I see this more as an opportunity to transform my thinking when it comes to working with this deck. I tend to lean on what is comfortable, but a snake never stays comfortable, they’re always shedding away old skin.
What advice or caution does this deck have for me? 7 of Spades (Mice)
Self-Sabotage is something I’m far too familiar with. I see this as a little heads up warning as to not fall into that trap, I overthink things more often than I’d like to admit.
This is my honest review of a deck that was sent to me as a gift by the deck creator.
What a great interview spread! And thanks for sharing your thoughts on the deck. I’m so glad you like it. I think your Monster Lenormand was my first Lenormand deck, and it’s been fun to explore that world ever since.
