We’re currently about to start the third and final decan of Gemini (Gemini lll) with the 10 of Swords. I’m turning 40 towards the end of this decan on the Summer Solstice!
For those new to decans, be sure to check out this post here for more information explaining them and what a “decan walk” is.
10 of Swords « Lord of Ruin »
The 10 of Swords, what a heavy hitter. With a name like “Lord of Ruin” it’s hard to see past the storm when you already feel like you’re drowning. What was once harmonious has now been disrupted and chaos is at pursuit. I tend to see the 10 of Swords as a snowball effect that negative thinking does to your mind. Once you start that cycle it can be a challenge to snap out of it, but it’s always possible since the only way to go is up!
I like to look at each card as “invitation”(taught by Lindsay Mack) and see what needs our attention. In this case, the 10 of Swords is inviting you to reprogram your thinking and replace harsh words with words of encouragement.
Every card has a silver lining if you’re willing to look hard enough; every card can be advice if you’re willing to listen.
